The owners and satff were very freindly and heplful. The room we had was very quite and we were able to sleep with the windows open. The hotel was clean and tidy.

Extremely friendly welcome from Emily, made to feel 'wanted' as a client (and not just another punter). No problem or issue was too much trouble to sort out. Room very clean, well cared for hotel.
Room lacked comfortable seat to sit in to watch TV. So it was a case of either sitting on the bed or a chair designed for sitting at the writing desk - minor point but a pain... Would be great if a Wi-Fi booster meant you could work in your room... the door locking mechanism takes some time to figure out so some instructions would have been cool!

The service was excellent, the staff couldn't do enough to welcome us during our stay. Because it was my husband's birthday we were upgraded to a fourposter bedroom, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast is lovely too
We liked everything, great location, easy walking distance to town centre, shops, theatre, cinema, and restaurants.

good welcome, helfpul staff, comfortable room, good bathroom
doors all squeek very loudly which is easily rectifiable and would make sleeping etc far easrer, specifically all the doors in the hallways and bedrooms on the lower ground floor...bit of wd40 would work a treat
